A Few Of My Favorite Things

I know, this blog is pretty pointless, but I want to make a list of a few of my favorite things, a list of things I love and things that make me dream. So first of all, dreaming is my favorite thing. It can also cause a lot of misery and pain, but someone once said, "keep on dreaming even if it breaks your heart" (Will Hoge), and I plan to do just that. My favorite thing to dream about is places. I love perusing through pictures of beautiful places, near and far. It makes me feel like I could be a different person, an important person, and that's all I really want. Virginia Woolfe sums it up quite nicely, "I feel so intensely the delights of shutting oneself up in a little world of one's own, with pictures and music and everything beautiful."

Bookstores
The smell of coffee

Lights
Cobblestone streets
Rain. Especially rain.
And the smell of the desert after it rains
The moon

My blanket fresh out of the dryer

Woods
